In order to prolong the life of the battery, after a complete discharge, the battery must be recharged to at least a balancing threshold (redischarge threshold) before it can be discharged again.

This threshold depends on the battery technology and model. It can vary between 80% and 90%.

It is necessary to wait until it charges above the "redischarge" threshold with solar energy, or with a forced charge from the grid.
